1800 984 873 We’re proud to announce that on 20 August 2025, Colby Storage Solutions achieved Level 2A certification under the Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA) program for our Belrose manufacturing facility. This certification specifically applies to our Colby steel rack and galvanised uprights, which are produced at the site, marking a significant step forward in our sustainability journey.
This upgrade from Level 2B to Level 2A reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and responsible manufacturing. Level 2A certification is recognised as ‘Good Practice’ under the Green Building Council of Australia’s (GBCA) Responsible Products Framework, earning 17 Responsible Product Value (RPV) credits. These credits contribute to Green Star ratings for buildings, helping our customers meet their sustainability goals while choosing high-quality, locally made racking solutions.
The certification was awarded following an independent desktop audit, assessing our compliance with SSA’s rigorous criteria. SSA certifications are published on the SSA Suppliers List, providing transparency and assurance to customers seeking environmentally responsible steel products.
